Man, things take off pretty quickly if you close your eyes. I can attest. This past summer has been frustrating to say the least. But let’s talk about what’s next for Darrin’s Coffee, more importantly, Darrin’s Coffee in Zionsville.
There was a new restaurant that opened right when we were moving out of our space at 120 S. Main. That business was actually our next door neighbor, The Village Kitchen. Things happen for a reason. The Village Kitchen was ready to close doors, and a friend of mine suggested that I get in touch with the owner, I did. The next thing I know, I bought a restaurant. Man, things take off pretty quickly if you close your eyes.
Zionsville is a great place. Zionsville has a great evening scene, but, it is(was) missing something. Of course Darrin’s Coffee fulfills the need of having a great coffee shop, but there was something else. Enter a new concept, Darrin’s. I’ve always loved entertaining. Darrin’s is cool at the next level. We plan on being a coffee shop that serves lunch, breakfast items, etc. And when the evening comes around, we’re going to be a high end dessert and bourbon lounge. The cool thing is, we’ll still be open for all ages. Plenty of events are planned. I had to give an update, I have to let my family, you guys, know. Man, things take off pretty quickly if you close your eyes. I’m just sayin’.
