What is a Melange?
In the coffee world, the mélange is blended after the coffee has been roasted. Darrin’s Melange blends a light, full medium and a dark roasted bean resulting in a great breakfast coffee as well as a fantastic dinner/dessert coffee.
To blend coffee before or after the roast.
That is the question.

This gentleman and I disagree on a few philosophies in the world of blending coffee. However, he and I agree on one thing for certain, in order to get the best flavor from beans from multiple regions, you’d be crazy to blend the beans before the roast. It’s that very reason why I created the Melange, and that’s why it’s so good.
